Terms of service
The rules that govern your use of Piccaso.
Last updated: April 19, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Piccaso, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Piccaso on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Piccaso is a visual skill builder that lets ecommerce teams design reusable AI image generation workflows ("skills"), connect their own third-party AI model API keys, and produce brand-consistent visual content.
Piccaso is a business tool intended for commercial use by brands and agencies. It is not a consumer product.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your login credentials or allow multiple people to use a single account unless covered by a team plan.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Piccaso.
4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Piccaso connects to third-party AI model APIs using API keys you provide. You are solely responsible for obtaining valid API credentials, complying with each provider's terms of service, and all costs incurred through those keys.
Piccaso is not responsible for service outages, rate limits, content policy violations, or cost overruns incurred through your connected API providers.
You must not enter API keys belonging to third parties without their explicit authorisation.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Piccaso only for lawful commercial purposes. You must not use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Piccaso platform or its infrastructure.
You must not use Piccaso to generate deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that impersonates real people in a misleading way.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
6. Your content
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you upload (product images, brand assets, prompts) and the outputs generated through your skills.
By using Piccaso, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service on your behalf. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You represent that you have the rights to upload and process the content you provide, including any images of people, products, or branded assets.
7. Marketplace skills and output ownership
Piccaso operates a marketplace where creators can publish reusable skills and other organisations can subscribe to execute them.
Ownership of images and other outputs generated by executing a skill belongs to the organisation that triggered the execution — the subscriber, not the creator of the skill. The subscriber also bears all costs incurred through their connected API providers to produce those outputs.
Skill creators retain all intellectual property rights in the skill definition itself (the workflow, prompts, and configuration). Subscribers receive a limited, non-transferable right to execute the subscribed skill for the duration of their active subscription. Subscribers must not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer a skill definition.
Creators are responsible for ensuring that any reference assets included in a skill snapshot are cleared for that use. Outputs produced by executing a skill may still be subject to the terms of the underlying AI model provider — review each provider’s content and licensing terms.
If a skill is unlisted by its creator, existing subscribers may continue to execute the last approved version for the duration of their subscription. If a skill is revoked by Piccaso for policy violation or a legal takedown, active subscriptions may be terminated with a pro-rata refund.
8. Subscription and billing
Piccaso is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual cycle as selected at signup.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in a promotional offer.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Failure to pay may result in service suspension. Accounts not renewed within 30 days of suspension may be permanently deleted.
9. Limitation of liability
Piccaso is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piccaso's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may terminate your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law, with or without notice depending on the severity.
On termination, your right to use Piccaso ends immediately. You may export your data before cancellation.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Piccaso is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceeding.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
