Message Templates

Create and manage Piccaso-approved message templates.

What are message templates?

Message templates are pre-approved message formats required by Piccaso for business-initiated conversations. They ensure quality and prevent spam.

Creating a template

  1. Go to Settings > Templates
  2. Click "New Template"
  3. Choose a category: Marketing, Utility, or Authentication
  4. Write your template with optional variables (e.g., {{1}} for customer name)
  5. Submit for Piccaso approval (usually takes 24-48 hours)

Template variables

Use placeholders to personalize messages:

  • {{1}} - Customer name
  • {{2}} - Order number
  • {{3}} - Custom value

Approval tips

  • Be clear and specific about the message purpose
  • Avoid promotional language in Utility templates
  • Include opt-out instructions for Marketing templates
